Sharon is a true Alberta, Canada native, who grew up in Edmonton and Calgary, and explored the province with her family on camping trips and country drives. She developed a love for the stunning and varied scenery of Alberta, which inspires her art.

Sharon studied Design Arts at Grant McEwan University in Edmonton and worked in advertising before becoming a full-time mom to her two daughters. After a move to Calgary, she immersed herself in all that is involved in motherhood. As her girls grew up and became independent, Sharon had more time to pursue her creative passions. She rediscovered her artistic side and now continues to experiment with different subjects, techniques and media.
